Played with a disc, the game requires cooperation between participants and is ideal for developing physical and social skills. There are many reasons to include Ultimate Frisbee in your students’ routine. Because of its cooperative nature, sport values mutual respect, clear communication and teamwork. Furthermore, it encourages quick thinking, as it requires strategic decisions during the game.
In short, it is an activity that provides physical and emotional benefits, making the school environment more dynamic and welcoming.
Ultimate Frisbee at FCA programs
Ultimate Frisbee practice is available in programs such as the 5-month High School, the Mini High School and the full semester of High School. Training takes place in outdoor spaces, always under the supervision of teachers. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in friendly games with Canadian and other nationalities.
This sporting experience strengthens bonds between students and contributes to their adaptation to Canada’s cultural environment.
How to participate?
To participate, the student must be regularly enrolled in one of the programs offered by FCA. The activities are included in the pedagogical calendar and do not interfere with academic responsibilities. Coaches encourage everyone’s inclusion, regardless of technical level, as the main focus is participation and team spirit.
In addition, those responsible can monitor student engagement through pedagogical reports.
