Whale watching
Whale watching is an educational and tourist activity that allows students to witness the behaviour of these incredible marine mammals in their natural habitat. There are few experiences as remarkable as seeing a whale up close. Because of their grandeur and connection with the ocean, whales arouse admiration and curiosity. How does whale watching happen?
The activity is organized with specialized companies in the region and accompanied by FCA teachers. Departures take place on safe vessels, with clear guidelines on responsible environmental behaviour. During the tour, students observe different species and learn about migration, feeding and communication of these animals.
Who can participate?
All students enrolled in programs that include nature tours have access to whale watching. It is essential to follow team instructions and use recommended safety equipment. Participation also requires prior authorization from those responsible.
