The educational trip is an activity planned with pedagogical, cultural and linguistic objectives. At Fredericton Christian Academy (FCA), this type of experience expands learning by putting students in direct contact with different social and academic contexts in Canada.

What is an Educational Trip?

How the Educational Trip works?

These trips occur within the calendar of the programs offered and involve itineraries organized by FCA educators. During the tours, students participate in practical activities, visits to historical and cultural sites, as well as learning sessions in environments outside the classroom.

In addition, because of contact with native speakers and real language use situations, students reinforce their English skills naturally. Experience outside the school environment also encourages autonomy, respect and cooperation among colleagues.

Why Educational Travel is important?

There are many benefits to this type of experience. Firstly, the student learns through practice, connecting the content of classes with reality. In short, it is an opportunity that promotes personal and academic growth at the same time.

Travel also sparks interest in new cultures and encourages curiosity. The student begins to observe the world more critically, expanding their vision on topics such as history, geography, sustainability and social behaviour.

Relationship with FCA programs

FCA includes educational trips at various points in its programs. At Summer Camp, for example, tours explore natural beauty and landmarks of local culture. At Mini High School, trips complement interdisciplinary projects. In the 5-month High School, these activities deepen curricular content and create connections between theory and practice.

How to participate in trips?

To participate, the student must be enrolled in one of the current programs. All trips are accompanied by trained teachers and coordinators. Instructions, authorizations and schedules are communicated in advance to families, ensuring safety and organization.

During the trip, students receive guidance on behaviour, safety and respect for local regulations. This way, the environment remains welcoming and productive for everyone.

Changes and updates

Timetable and destinations may vary depending on the program, time of year and local conditions. Therefore, it is recommended that those responsible follow official updates from the FCA. If you have any questions, please contact us at Official WhatsApp of the FCA or consult the FCA website.
