Volleyball
Volleyball is a sport that develops motor coordination, quick thinking and teamwork. At Fredericton Christian Academy (FCA), this modality is offered as part of extracurricular activities, providing students with a healthy and fun way to integrate sport into their school routine.

Why volleyball is important?
There are countless reasons to include volleyball in students’ training. Because of its dynamic rhythm, the sport encourages concentration, discipline and respect for others. In short, volleyball not only strengthens the body, but also teaches essential values such as cooperation and resilience.
In addition, the sports environment facilitates social interaction between students of different nationalities. This multicultural coexistence broadens the understanding of diversity and contributes to the formation of lasting bonds.
Volleyball in FCA programs
Volleyball is present in the 5-month High School, Mini High School and full semester High School programs. Students have access to adequate infrastructure for regular training, as well as the opportunity to participate in friendly games with teams from other institutions. There is also the option of practicing recreationally, during supervised free time.
This sports integration strengthens the balance between study and physical well-being, favoring a more complete school routine.
How to participate?
To participate in volleyball activities, the student must be enrolled in one of the FCA programs. Teams are organized according to students’ interest and skill level. Furthermore, teachers and coaches ensure that training is aligned with the teaching calendar, avoiding conflicts with classes.
Guardians receive up-to-date information on sports performance through school reports and direct communication with the pedagogical team.
