Why take part in summer courses?

This is an excellent option for those who want to improve their English, gain self-confidence and make new friends. Additionally, courses are designed to develop social, academic and emotional skills. Because of this, students return home more prepared to face new school challenges. In short, it is an enriching and transformative experience.

How summer courses work at FCA?

The courses take place during the month of July and welcome students between 12 and 17 years old. Activities include English (ESL) classes, sports, cultural tours and creative workshops. Total immersion in the English language accelerates learning in a natural and fun way. All participants live with selected Canadian families, which expands the cultural experience and provides more security.

Additional benefits

In addition to improving the language, summer courses promote autonomy, responsibility and a sense of community. Students learn to deal with different cultures, practice communication in real contexts and develop coexistence skills. As a result, many return to Canada in the future for longer programs, such as Mini High School or the full High School.

Who can participate?

Any student with a basic level of English and a willingness to live an international experience can register. The FCA team offers complete support during all stages: registration, travel preparation, reception in Canada and return to the country of origin.
