What are Daily Meals?

How meals work?

Each student receives three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Because of this, the menus are created with nutritional balance and variety, including fruits, vegetables, proteins and options that respect dietary restrictions.

In addition, meals take place in safe and supervised environments. This moment favors coexistence between students and strengthens cultural bonds. In short, mealtime becomes a space of integration and comfort.

The importance of meals for students

There are several reasons to value daily meals in an exchange program. Firstly, adequate nutrition keeps the student healthy and energetic to face the school routine. In addition, good nutrition promotes focus and academic performance.

Another important point involves emotional well-being. Because of the regularity of meals and the care taken with the menus, students feel welcomed, even far from home. Thus, food contributes to adaptation to the new environment.

Meals in FCA programs

All FCA programs — such as Summer Camp, Mini High School and 5-month High School — include daily meals. The composition of the dishes may vary depending on the season, regional preferences and nutritional needs of the participants.

Students with specific diets or dietary restrictions must provide these details at the time of registration. This way, the team can adapt the menus without compromising the health of students.

How to ensure adequate nutrition?

To ensure meals compatible with each profile, it is essential to correctly fill out the health and nutrition forms when signing up for the program. Furthermore, it is recommended to communicate with the pedagogical coordination before travelling, especially in cases of more specific dietary restrictions.

This advance communication avoids setbacks and ensures a smoother experience during the exchange. Therefore, the more details are shared, the better the school will be prepared.
