Safety and well-being involve actions that guarantee the physical, emotional and social integrity of students during their stay in Canada. At Fredericton Christian Academy (FCA), this care is a fundamental part of the educational environment. They strengthen the confidence of parents and students throughout the international journey.

Why safety and well-being are essential?
A safe environment directly contributes to school performance. Because of this, FCA invests in adequate physical structure, preventive guidance and emotional support. Furthermore, there is a team trained to respond to any situation quickly.
In short, students who feel protected are able to adapt better, interact more freely and enjoy every aspect of the exchange.
How the FCA promotes safety?
The school maintains security systems in continuous operation, such as surveillance cameras, access control and supervision by the pedagogical team. In addition, students receive regular instruction on responsible behaviour and respect for others.
Host families and student residences follow criteria defined by the school. Thanks to this care, students live in places prepared to welcome and guide young people from different cultures.
How well-being is encouraged?
FCA promotes healthy practices in everyday life. A balanced diet, adequate sleep routine and encouragement of physical activity are part of the educational plan. Teachers and advisors monitor each student, quickly identifying any need for extra attention.
This monitoring strengthens the bond between school and student. As a result, young people feel heard, welcomed and valued during their international experience.
FCA programs and student care
All FCA programs — such as Summer Camp, Mini High School and High School 5 months—include protocols that prioritize safety and well-being. This care is present at all stages: transportation, accommodation, food and coexistence.
Students are encouraged to express their concerns and seek help whenever necessary. This creates trusting relationships and remarkable experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
