What is hiking?

Why is hiking important?

There are many benefits associated with hiking. Because of its active nature, it contributes to physical health, reduces stress and improves concentration. Additionally, group walks encourage teamwork and a sense of community among students. In short, it is an effective educational tool, which combines learning and personal development.

How hiking is carried out at FCA?

The trails are defined in advance by the pedagogical team, taking into account factors such as safety, difficulty and educational value. During the course, students observe fauna and flora, discuss natural phenomena and apply content seen in class. Teachers accompany each group, encouraging reflections on sustainability and environmental impact.

Who can participate?

All students enrolled in programs with outdoor activities can participate in hiking trails. It is necessary to have authorization from those responsible, in addition to following the preparation guidelines provided by the institution. FCA recommends comfortable clothing, frequent hydration and a spirit of cooperation during the journey.
